NTL Cable/Broadband Technical Support [Closed] (Read 18,871 times)

NTL's technical support number has been changed to a 10p/min 0871 and the discussion on this number has now been combined with that of the new customer services 0845 number here.

I only have 0845 650 0125 and they would not give me any other number, saying that non-geographical number did not exist ,but we know differant please help Kes

when we had that goddamnawful Wormblast virus sometime ago, i spent loads of time and money on their Tech Supp line. after about 2wks worth of wasted time and energy, i eventually got myself sorted out, and virus=free, but after awhile suss that you can:
dial 150 and ask to be put thru' to Tech Supp (tell em that you were cut off, and ringing their line is the only no. available
voila you're in, for free..
try it and see for yourself!

I have an ntl cable modem
and needed support on more than one occasion

I have always telephoned their freephone number
and followed the prompts.. however you can always hold for an operator to answer you then put you through.. this is designed for people who do not have touchphone facilities.. I have even got tech support this way which is a designated 0870 number!
just give it a try weekdays 8am>8pm
' 0800 052 2000 '
be persistent with them.. good luck!

I tried it, they said broadband technical support number is 0845 one as stated in original post. that 0800 number is customer service, billing related enquiries.

I should know, I'm a TV, telephone and broadband customer. You MUST be patient and wait for the correct option as this number is their general number which covers EVERYTHING if you're willing to wait for the correct option.

I have just called them at 12.11 on 14 September!!!!! Do not post regarding inaccurate numbers without trying them first!!!!!

Believe me, it's happened to me!!!! Just make sure you follow my instructions to the letter and you should get through. I've never had any problems.
