BBC Recruitment
Dec 1st, 2006 at 12:38pm

Hi, any help regarding how to contact BBC Recruitment for customer service (difficulty in using their 'new' and 'improved' online recruitment site) would be wholly appreciated.

www.bbchrdirect.co.uk - of course this domain isn't working yet, which is worrying enough.

The following is from their jobs.bbc.co.uk website:

'You can contact us by post or email:
BBC Recruitment
PO Box 48305
London
W12 6YE
Email: careers@bbchrdirect.co.uk

To comment and enquire about the BBC and its programmes: you can search for the correct e-mail address on the bbc.co.uk Contacting us information page. '

Of course no phone number at all is offered there.  But because they've changed how they hold applicant details on their website recently, they sent a private message to me offering this number, which I have googled and haven't found a non-0870:

0870 333 1330

Because their new online recruitment system is just as stupid as their old one, I am not about to remain on hold on an 0870 number if I can possibly avoid it.

I thank you very much for your help in advance.

A couple of other numbers for BBC Recruitment are:
Textphone: 020 8008 4300
Fax: 020 8008 4001

Both start 020 8008 4xxx, and with the fax ending 001, I would be inclined to try 020 8008 4000. If it is the same building/office, it may well be switchboard/reception. If it is, you may have to ask to be put through.

Please come back and say whether it works.  Smiley

Alas.  The number you suggested didn't work.  I had to use the 0870 like the other stiffs!

Thank you for your help, though ... I hope someone finds the geo number sometime for other folks! Smiley
