Sunspex Direct UK/Looks Direct/Looks Opticians

I ordered a pair of Oakley sunglasses as a gift from www.sunspexdirect.com on the 17th of December. Still no sign of them. I have tried emailing the company twice, as I am just wanting to find out if, a) the product was actually in stock when I bought them (the website did not give that information) and, b) or if they can give me a rough idea of when I will receive them. I have also tried ringing them for the past two days on 0845 257 3535 at various times between 10:00 and 16:00 to no avail.

Hmm, not so good. Sorry about the wrong extension (my bad!) I'm holding out hope that they haven't gone belly up. I think (hope) they might not hold any glasses in stock, and instead they order them from the manufacturer / distributor when they receive orders. Still doesn't explain why I am not receiving any call backs or emails Sad

The payment went through Protx. I might try and see if they can shed any light on this.

So yes, it's the same company.
The whois on looksdirect.co.uk matches the registered company address which is the Somerset address above.

However, a whois lookup on sunspexdirect.com reveals an address of:

Googling for this one comes up with:

Tel: 0121 427 3535

Seems pretty obvious that this is the number you need. It's probable that the registered company address is the address of the accountants or of a director, and not a trading address, especially as it seems to be a residential area.

Thanks for the feedback. I have now listed this 0845 and 0121 pair as verified.

The 0845 number is also listed on Looks Direct's website.

Looks Opticians gives the Birmingham address and 0121 telephone number.

Also note that the last five digits of the 0845 and 0121 numbers are 73535.
