The three numbers shown for this company are now unobtainable, and the unconfirmed number is purely for sales.Would anyone know of a number for customer services?

No,they havn't moved. The phone number has.The number is for a company in a different address in Kingston-on-Thames.They are obviously trying to force the use of the 0870 numbers. Sad

I've removed these two entries:

Humax Electronics Co Ltd       0870 2478800             028 91824983             Customer Helpline
Humax Electronics Co Ltd       0870 7189677             028 91824950             Customer support (bypasses introduction) Fax: (0870 7189678) 028 91812932

All are not recognised apart from 028 91824950 which has a network redirection message to 0870 2478800.

There are numbers on their Global web site, http://www.humaxdigital.com/global/support/servicecontact.asp  but nothing  UK, maybe one of the English speaking countries could help, as it would be cheaper than phoning their now 0844 6690677 number from this page; - http://www.humaxdirect.co.uk/prodCat2.asp?cat=Factory

Humax digital UK; - http://www.humaxdigital.com/uk/support/contactus.asp  gives the following,(note the UK helpline number!), Tel: 0870 247 8800 (UK Customer Helpline)

Also a different address and a fax number on that page, (it seems they are now in Brentford); -
Fax: +44 208 326 6019
HUMAX Electronics Co., Ltd. LONDON:
The Mille Building, 8th Floor, 1000 Great West Road, Brentford, London, TW8 9HH, U.K.

It really annoys me that you virtually get forced to use a premium line to complain about a defective product.I am with TalkTalk, and get all my geographical cals free,so am doubly annoyed.I can understand a little bit where it is technical assistance required, but not for product faults. Why should I have to pay a company to let them know that something I have paid them for,is not working.Rant over. Yes,that's how I'm getting it sorted, and I know from past experience that the staff are very helpful. They are excellent at sorting out an exchange, with no quibbles. However,it's just not the same as speaking to a person.Maybe that's just me.

Having just purchased a Humax PVR there are some more details in the warranty certificate booklet that may assist in a geo number being found.

After Sales Centre Name; - Teleplan
Telephone; - 0870 2478800
Fax; - 028 9181 2932
Address; - Langstone Technology Park
Langstone Road
Havant
PO9  1SA
United Kingdom

There are some numbers in the database,(unverified but do answer as Toshiba laptop repairs/service, so they can be verified for Toshiba), but they are 01206 numbers, Colchester.

I have Googled the name and address and found this number; - 02392 444000, was answered as Teleplan and I asked to speak to someone regarding the product, was transferred but had to leave a message on her voice mail, so will have to wait and see if my call is returned.

Also tried 02392 444096, that went straight to a male voice mail, and I have left another message, they are probably at lunch at this time.

Have just had a call back, 02392 444559, but turns out they only do repairs and cannot help with enquiries, not much point putting the address on the warranty booklet then!

Although he did offer to request the call centre call me, they did so, but 1471 did not reveal the number!

Although Australia appears to be free, anyone know if this can be called from the UK and what the charges might be? As it would probably be cheaper to call internationally than 0870.
