The Hollies Rectory road. Hadleigh Essex. SS7 2NA. I have written three times they give the same excuse that they are in line with guidance. I am persuing with my MP.

Dear Ironsides,

Firstly Welcome to SayNoTo0870.com,
it would appear your Dr's are either very naive or just liars. The advise that the 0844 number is charge at "local rate", which it's not, simply because the term local rate no longer exists. It's charged at anything from 5p per minute upwards, plus on landlines a call connection fee it levied by the phone provider.

I would suggest SilentCallsVictim is the best person to ask regarding getting help from you MP and advising the local surgery that the number NEEDS to be changed.

As for finding an alternative it can be very hard. Sorry

But both numbers are now 'not recognised' so it's obvious the good GP has decided to make a few extra quid off his patients and switched them off.
