Netgear support has changed from 020-7216-0014 to 0870-112-1206.

Does anyone know a geographic number for them?

Even an American number would be OK because that would be only 3p using Tiscali SmartTalk!

You could try the following UK number: 01344 397021

If this is not the correct department, and they are unable to help, you could try Netgear Support (US) at:

Just to let you know that the Netgear alternative in the database (01344 458200) is only a Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm number (as a friend of mine has just tried to call it. Could that information be added to the database please?

You could contact Netgear in the USA on 001 408 367 7802. Option 4 is technical support. They claim to offer support "anytime".

USA geographical numbers can be called for 1 p/min via one of the 0844 access numbers. See http://callchecker.moneysavingexpert.com/intcallchecker/index.php

Anybody like a free way to call American 18xx numbers (the free ones anyway)? Well, thanks to the power of SIP, VoIP and all that, you can :D.

SIPBroker is an international group/company(?) that provides geographic access to the SIP network. They also (recently I believe) started providing direct access to American free numbers via this system. Therefore, you should be able to use it to access the Netgear support number in American (and any other 18xx) numbers. This page provides all the PSTN access numbers to the SIPBroker service: http://www.sipbroker.com/sipbroker/action/pstnNumbers

As an example of how to use this (using the Netgear number as an example):
- Dial 0113 350 8747 (Leeds)
- When prompted, enter *1888 638 4327#
- Hopefully, you will be connected to Netgear support without any problems :)

There is an entry in the database if you search for netgear. I have amended it with 0844 875 4000 and a link to the online support portal at my.netgear.com.
