Sometimes Call18866/1899 can be busy at the weekends due to excessive calls being made.
I use OneTel at the weekend because all their geographical calls are free at weekends no matter how long and they dont even have a monthly fee for this. TalkTalk do a similiar thing but they have a limit of 70mins though. As I have an Orchid Dialler box, it does it all automatically so I don't need to worry about it. |

I have just been using it, and it worked fine for me.

It doesn't appear to be unique to 18866! Read this thread and Call1899 are also having problems.

Do you have a BT line or cable? (I've had no problems today with a BT line).

same for me...got the network busy tone last friday morning (all morning) when dialled 18866 from bt line; and its just happened again tonight (tuesday 7th 22.10)
only this time i got the voice saying "zero p per minute" and then the bt voice saying "please hang up". Going to see if I was charged a connection fee! Is it just network busy or something more sinister? |
