No geographical number for them - then hanging on the phone whilst they answered it and then saying computers were slow and they would have to find another computer to go to - all the while I am hanging onto premium rate!

If you provide a full address and even the non-geographical, as per the instructions, we might have a fighting chance!

If you search the database for "Norwich Union" (no quotes), you will find a whole host of numbers, including main switchboards at the top.

I believe that the menu on 01603 202500 will put you through to most, if not all NU departments.
