Title: NS&I (nsandi/National Savings & Investments) Post by doddyvision on Nov 5th, 2012 at 10:35am
:'( Shocked to see that nsandi who are meant to promote savings are still using an "0500" number. Thank heavens for SayNoto0870 which provided me with a proper landline number 012 5384 0007. This is of course included in my inclusive call contract with "onetel". Even the DVLA now have an "0300" number which is inclusive. :)

0500 is a legacy freephone range and there are very few users. Ofcom is currently consulting on the withdrawal of this range. There have been no new users on this range for over 10 years.

Calls to 0500 numbers are FREE from a landline.
Unless you have "free" or "inclusive" calls to 01 numbers in your package, your call to 01253 840007 (not 012 5384 0007) actually cost you more. |

They do their best to indicate its a free call?
Any questions? Call us free on 0500 007 007. Or, to apply for any of our savings and investments, call us free on 0500 500 000. |
