It is discusting and down right criminal that telco's can carry on using 08 number for organization such as charities and voluntary organizations instead of the alternative 03 number

Lets start a campaign and force OFCOM to look into this discusting practice this is a stealth charge to the vulnerable in society

I have just been in contact with OFCOM in regard to the thousands of 08 numbers still published by the Telco's and the legislation does not restrict them from publishing 08 numbers for voluntary organizations.

My issue is that thousands of people will use the 08 number published if there is not an alternative.

I suggest we lobby our MPs about this issue just as we did in regard to doctors surgeries using 0845 numbers and the legislation was changed tlargely thanks to members on this site
