Title: ALthough it exists company refused to give number
Post by leyley on Feb 13th, 2004 at 3:13pm
:(
I tried to contact DHLOmega (courier company formally known as Securicor) asking for the number to call from abroad when ordering collection. Although they admitted  the number exists they refused to give it, saying their website can be used when making orders from abroad,

Is there any other way toaccess this number/do we have any rights to get it?

Please help

When I come across this sort of problem I conclude that revenue from 0870/0845 is an integral part of their business plan. If they refuse to give the number you can always refuse to deal with them. However if you have a parcel in the system you may have no alternative until someone puts the number on this site.

A useful prompt is to say that your phone system cannot access 0870/0845. Mine cannot. I have to bypass normal routing to access 0870/0845.

Meantime you might try...

Securicor Omega logistics.

I know this is a month after your post but I searched the DHL site under international and looked for the UK and it came up with (00) 44 1332 816960 as the phone number to call from abroad.
Hope this helps
