I don't know much about 08444 numbers, but apparently it's charged at 5p a minute, cheaper than 0871 but still s rip off.

Anyway, searching on Yell got their current number 01296 678182, which I rang and got some background.  :)
They'll put you through to Orders or Customer services. Switchboard is 01296 678180 (for General Enquiries & Suppliers).

The 0844 number you found is defunct - they stopped using it before they got the 0870 numbers because some mobiles had problems ringing it.
