This is a great site...I didn't think anyone else cared till I found it ;D

When the con of 0870 first gathered momentum I complained to OFTEL  and it was the dismissive and patonising tone of the replies that really wound me up :o >:( >:(

The Biro Pilot I eventually spoke to on the phone was just not interested.......He would not grasp or admit that taking peoples money in this way is at best a RUSE and worst WHOLLY DISHONEST..........And I thought that OFTEL were there to take complaints from the public seriously HA HA HA ::) ::) :( :(

I read that OFTEL are now looking at 0870?? If this is so it would be great if everyone could vent feelings to them and hopefully force these people (OFTEL) to do something about it. ;)

Welcome to the 'campaign', the only way we can hope to do anything is by 'shouting' together.
I have submitted two responses to OFCOM, written to all major political parties asking them their policies on the matter, wrote to my MP, who has promised to take it to OFCO as well, and written letters to the media (newspapers, 'watchdog' type programs etc).  From little acorns......?
