Does anyone have a geo number for B&Q Internet Customer Service?

The number given on the Web site is 0870 0101 006
???

A directory enquiries search got me my local store (some time ago hence not sure what it was)

Most (annoyingly, not all) B&Q stores still show as geographical numbers on their website's Storefinder database.

Well the reason for the Warehouses not having a local number is fairly easy to work out. Have you ever been into one of the stores and seen how busy they get ? :-/
Well the ones with the 0870 numbers are the most busy stores, hence they're routed to a Call centre that will answer you quicker. They have access to stock details of the busy store so will save you waiting a long time for an answer from that store.

Just ring the switchboard at the Head Office in Eastleigh, which we have in our database - 0238 0256256, and ask them for Customer services (or whatever). ;D

Alot of the entries for B&Q end 00 or 11. They appear to have direct dialing, like Tesco branches.

11 is store support line with a menu to speak to departments including management.
00 is the main customer number which the 0870 goes to.
10 is fax.

Find the store on the B&Q website. Look for the fax number. If it ends 10, then change the last 2 digits to 00, you should get the store's general number.

Obviously I can't confirm that this will work 100% of the time but it's worth a try. It's also possible that the fax number may not end 10, but changing the last 2 digits to 00 will work. You will have to try it to find out!

The number you require is 01302 554300. I have just tried it and it gives you the recording you get with the 0870. I have moved it to the verified list.

Thanks to whoever posted this number on the unverified as this is the new location of B&Q in Doncaster, so I doubt that it will be listed anywhere else on the internet.

Thank you for that. I DID read the advice about searching the unverified list before posting, but didn't see the button! I blame that on having a "Senior moment". I'll know next time...
