Title: Website of the Day on Radio 2

Which incidentally regularly promotes its own 0870 number - just like every other BBC Radio channel.

What a piece of one-sided journalism that Jeremy Vine piece was. It's easy to hitch a ride on the "consumer champion" bandwagon, but perhaps they could have enough integrity to remove the 0870 numbers from their own broadcasts.

If this were my site, I don't think I'd be promoting that kind of hypocrisy on the front page!

Yes the hypocrisy of the BBC is quite unbelievable. However it is really all about the revenue which they are yielding on their total number of revenue-sharing NGNs. They like the government do not want to lose this stream contributing towards their total revenue.

But my point is the reflected glory this site is attempting to gain from implied endorsement by Jeremy Vine and the BBC in the top left hand corner of the front page.

That really isn't an association I'd be promoting here given the hypocrisy of the BBC.

The BBC is not one homogeneous mass; it has good part, that are critical of the 087x and 084x scams, and bad parts that use the very same numbers.  That’s life. Our/my aim is to convert the bad parts.

Sorry again, but it is the Beeb who has given the most publicity on air to our cause.

So, Capita and all that stuff is the same organisation.

But they have done four programmes about 0870, all against.

Credit where credit is due?

I know that this will provoke some people but think about it, how many large media oufits agree with the boss?

If they did they would be toothless.

:D
