As a company we take credit card payments for sale of goods. To take these payments we use a funds transfer system from a company called Commidea.

Has anyone found an alternative for the funds transfer number 0870 900 8578 (it's not on the list of verified/unverified)?

Problem with that is if I call them to ask for an alternative they'll say "use the 0870 number".

Do you (or someone else) pay Commidea separately for the funds transfer, or are they funding the transfer costs by way of revenue share from the 0870 number?

If the latter that is, in theory, an acceptable use of a premium-type number - but it ought to be made clear and not 'hidden' by the use of a so-called 'national' call.
