There's not much point in listing the Irish number as an alternative to 0870 8501607  The Irish 0818 range is like the UK 0870, and if you phone it from the UK as 00 353 818 719 822, you'll be charged for a call to an Irish mobile, not landline.  saynoto0870.com today, saynoto0818.com tomorrow?

I thought of that, but checked them before I responded - and then decided not to.  ;)
With 1899 & 18185, Irish mobiles and 'national' calls are about 15p/min (from memory) - more expensive that mobile calls to several distant and/or minor countries (e.g. Japan, India, and others).

So,  0870 is still cheaper!  :(

If you're that desperate, you can call for 7p a minute using access number 0871 772 54 54 at peak time, or get an Irish VoIP account with Blueface and it'll be only 8.2c/min (5.7p/min) peak times.

If they say its someone's personal extension number tell them you were given it after a high level complaint to James Murdoch and they can transfer you across to customer services.

This number is also a good starting point to make a High Level Complaint at Sky as it gets through to their Escalated Complaints Customer Care Team.
