I have just had an advertising flyer through my door stating ' call now on 0870 *** **** (local rate) Other than call the company to complain what other action should I take?

Send it to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) with a complaint.
Although they provide an online form for complaints, you can also send in complaints by e-mail (with attachements) to enquiries@asa.org.uk, but make sure you include all the relevant info that they ask for in the online complaints form.

If you have a scanner you can scan the leaflet and upload it with your online complaint form.

They will lose and be told never to do it again or face a full investigation!

What's the company? Is it Glide Ltd by any chance?
