Just received the following e-mail from Inside Money,BBC and was wondering if someone on this forum might like to contact them to see if they would do an exposure of the 0870/0845 scam?

Dear Money Box listener,

The Money Box team is starting its preparations for this year's Inside Money, and would like to hear from listeners who might be interested in taking part.

Every summer, Inside Money gives BBC Radio 4 listeners the chance to make programmes exploring financial issues which matter to them. Listeners spend three days with the team, speaking to key people and trying to get answers to their questions.

At the moment topics we are thinking about include Home Information Packs, Individual Voluntary Arrangements, bank charges, introductory savings rates and ethical finances.

Or maybe you would like to nominate a different subject.

So cost of phone calls and how to avoid expensive ones that present themselves as only being lo-cal/national rate sounds like an interesting possible angle then? ;)
