The move means that all UK organisations can now get a memorable 0844 number for a small connection fee only that starts at just £75.

Companies that choose an 0844 number from Windsor Telecom will also receive 2 pence per minute from each of the calls they receive.

Neil Sherring, chief executive of the firm, said: "Our new pricing for 0844 numbers now means that people can choose from some of the best 0844 numbers available without a monthly commitment. What's more, they'll also receive 2p per minute for the calls they receive - making it one of the most attractive offerings on the market."
