Nor, disgracefully do the AA warn you anywhere that this is a premium price number.

There are lots of alternatives listed under "The AA". Companies tend to have different numbers which go to the same place - I suspect this to be the case with this number. Please see if any of the existing alternative numbers will do the trick.

May I ask who is your telephone provider?

From 1 August, the premium transferred during 0870 calls was removed. As a result, some telephone providers have brought their 0870 charges into line with 01/02/03 ones. Unfortunately some, notably Virgin Media and the mobile operators, have not.


I have just been through the database and retitled unverified AA entries. If you put the aa. (note the dot on the end) you will get all AA entries. Take your pick and let us know what works for your enquiry by posting on this thread, so I can update the database to list the numbers you provide.
