Title: Virgin Media Geographic Number?
Post by paulinedennis on Nov 11th, 2011 at 10:29am
I am horrified to find, after signing with Virgin Media, that 0845 and 0870 numbers are not free.  This includes 'phoning for technical support (0845 number) on my new installation that has a fault.  Does anyone know of a geographic number that actually works?

Not only are they not inclusive, Virgin Media charges the country's highest rates for calling 084 and 087 numbers.

Have you looked on the database where there are many geographical numbers verified and unverified?

Use 150 from your VM home phone and follow the options for broadband faults. I also use 0800 1831986 when occasionally calling from mobile (obviously using the 020 02220700 call through)

Sign in to your Virgin account, or perhaps approach them directly to see if you qualify for a "Tickle"
One of which includes 250 minutes to 0845 monthly, permanently
