Health Lottery Number 0844 375 55 55 I am unable to locate the alternative number.

The quote on the site is as follows:-

The Health Lottery please see www.healthlottery.co.uk or call 0844 375 55 55. Calls to The Health Lottery will be charged at 5p per minute from a BT landline. Charges from other service providers will vary.

Am I correct in thinking that they have to quote the connection charges as they are in the teens of pence

The Health Lottery is run by Northern and Shell (Express NewsPapers).

The contact address they give is that of a call handling company www.thecontactcompany.co.uk/index.php/contact-us who i assume handle the calls for them.

This lot don't seem to be in any hurry to change to 03.

My elderly grandparents often call them to get the latest results, as they don't have internet. It seems wrong for them to be raking in money from poor pensioners like this, though no doubt they'd claim it all goes towards the prizes.

The Health Lottery has an address in Birkenhead,
Queensgate
Grange Road East
Birkenhead
CH41 5FD

an online search of the post code indicates that it belongs to The Contact Company who provide outsourced customer service. I would therefore assume they also handle the calls for the Health Lottery.

Given their main contact number is an 0845 number I doubt you would find the appropriate number for the Health Lottery.

You could try e-mailing the Health Lottery via their e-mail address here

If you do succeed in getting an alternative number please do let us know.
