If you dial the geographical number given in the search for an alternative you either get an engaged tone or the message that no one is available to take your call. They now have an 0844 number

I assume you mean: 0844 412 8455?

Like so many other companies it seems VAX has decided to use these dreaded numbers.

However you can contact them in other ways here: http://www.vax.co.uk/contact as well as giving them some "honest" feedback.

Hello axolotyl and welcome to SayNoTo0870 and thanks for pointing this out.

The entry in question was:

Vax Ltd 0870 606 1248 0844 412 8455 01905 823310 Customer services Also 01905 823311 - 823334 Switchboard:- 01905 795959

I have now removed this entry. The 0870 number is answered by a recording which redirects to the 0844 number.

All numbers 823310 through to 823334 are busy.

The switchboard 01905 795959 still rings, so may be a useful lead. Please let me know if a suitable alternative is found and I will put it in the listings.
