Post by casey on Mar 15th, 2016 at 5:49pm
The booking line for  'Ring and Ride' ( transport for Greater Manchester) is 0845 6883989. No match on the Forum.
Any help please.

Now that we have the clarity that these numbers are premium rate with an additional Service Charge, most companies change their number as soon as they realise the true circumstances.

It would be wise to ask this of senior management.

Finding an alternative number helps only those people who realise that such a thing might exist.

Getting the company to change their number, perhaps to the matching 0345 number, helps all of their customers.

Hello casey
According to this page the number to book Ring and Ride journey's with TfGM's Ring and Ride is: 0161 200 6011.  Why this number is not given on their main Ring and Ride page is beyond me.

I would suggest calling that number to check it is used for bookings, and then maybe e-mail Ring and Ride here to question why they still have an 0845 number but A: fail to declare the call costs and B: on the 2nd page they have an entirely different number...

Please do let us know how you get on.

:)

Many thanks Global mod.

I have rung 0161 2006011 pressed option 1 and got straight through to 'bookings'.
I asked why my daughter had been given the 0845
number only ( for which we had been charged up to 7ppm)
and they said they did not know but the 0845 is a direct line It' a mad mad world.
