Title: 0845/0870 links
Post by derrick on Sep 14th, 2017 at 11:12am
Can someone please provide some easy to read links relating to 084/087 numbers that have been illegal since July 2014?

I am trying to educate a company that their use of 0845 is illegal and has been for 3 years.

Thanks

.

The link given above contained a spurious invisible trailing character - this version is OK.

That works, but I was looking for something a bit more legal/authoritative , there was a lot of links somewhere but I cannot find them.

Found this one from Legislation.gov.uk  http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2013/3134/regulation/41/made

Another link found in the fair telecoms campaign briefing is the official guidance on the regulations.

Numbers starting with 0845 and 0870 are generally NOT covered by mobile allowances, but some landline providers do include them. Other 084/087 numbers are never inclusive.
