Oh well there at it again, just rang 0800 5875707 entered 123 * twice and then got told to redial 0870-2404040, also tried 01506-831780 but got told this number is not available from my location, interesting as my outgoing number is blocked by default.

I wonder why I have just cancelled my subscription with them thieving gits

If it's anything like other countries you can't block ANI even if you have CID blocked...

Also there is 2 more numbers on this site for that 0870 number...

01506485901 and 01383814000

Perhaps anon can come back and provide another number, like he/she did here.

I have now tried all the options and Sky seem to have locked them all out. The head office ones (01383) just say they can't help and listen sympathetically when you say it is costing you a fortune to wait 30 minutes on an 0870 number. The 01506 numbers all say that the number is not valid 'from your location'. The 0800 5875707 number redirects you to an 0870. If anyone has any alternatives please post them - I am running out of money as well as patience.

As George has said drawing a blank with these, maybe folks should just flood them with letters that will give them a headache, oh well lets hope we get another one.

Have you tried nearby numbers like 01506 831781, 782 etc?

I have just rung 01536 831781 and was directed to a helpful call centre operative in Livingston in less than a minute.  We are playing silly games here, though.  Sky clearly trawls through this website and blocks any lines which are advertised. Can SayNoTo come up with any means of keeping sub-sites clear from 'blocking attack'?  If not, is this something which might be raised with local trading standards offices.  What Sky are doing is clearly crass, exploitative and morally unacceptable.  Whether it is actually legal I'm not sure about. Has anyone tried this route and with any joy?

Best to all seekers after fair trading,

Eric

I have just had a similar experience; the 0800 number lists an alternative 0870 number after two tries, but the 01506 number did the trick, spoke to a very nice Scottish lady who logged my request for an engineer without a problem.

Keep up the good work; will always use this site before calling a non-geographical number again.

Just got through tonight on the 01506 831781 number listed on the search page. I did not encounter any of the previously mentioned "we cannot take your call from your location" messages, but that might be because I rang from my mobile (to check the no.) & then went in for the main call from Skype on my PC.
Perhaps ringing THEM from a non-geographical number subverts their scurrilous attempts to earn money from customers who are usually ringing to fix a fault in a service that they are already paying for...
