BT Together is mandatory since 1 July,

Q what is the cost of a call across the nation since BT together became the standard offering from BT?

A 3 p a minute

Q What does 0870 cost?

A ~7 p a minute (plus VAT?)

Q What is 0870 described as by Ofcom?

A National Rate

COMPLAIN TO YOUR OPERATOR, IF THEY DO NOT HELP WRITE TO OFCOM, IF YOU GET NO SATISFACTION FROM OFCOM, WRITE TO YOUR MP!

Agreed, this is what we have been discussing in the 0870 threads.
Transparency is needed, OFCOM are 'deliberating' at present (I think!!?), and are about to start a new 'naming' procedure so that Local/National become Low and Midi - so that the same 'scam' can continue to be perpetrated on us (just under different names!!).
How can ppl be expected to follow the pricing/naming of this shambles.
OFCOM have behaved reprehensibly in this matter - as you say MPs are maybe our best bet.
