Just took out a travel insurance policy with Norwich Union.

The (very helpful) lady gave me the "claims line if you're abroad". It was a 0870 number!!! Incredible as you can't call 0870 numbers from a lot of foreign destinations!!

But they have a 0800 number for UK claims - and that can be dialed from abroad! Double-DOH!.
