I took the THA to task because on there website they were (even on there own lines)referring to 0845 as Local and 0870 as national calls.

They have told me this was an oversight,and they will make sure the web site is changed asap.

They also told me that they have told there members of the way Ofcom suggested the numbers are promoted in future which are.

For 0845:BT landline calls to 0845 numbers will cost no more then 4 p a minute;calls made from mobiles usually cost more.

For 0870:BT landline calls to 0870 numbers will cost no more then 8p per minute;calls made from mobiles usually cost more.

The ASA also now recommend the use of this in commercial advertising!!!
