You might want to try 0141 335 4201 (found on 192.com when searching for First ScotRail). There are also unverified numbers in the database that might help,

First Scotrail Telesales

I'm looking for an alternative to 0845 7 55 00 33, which is the Telesales number for First Scotrail.  I know that the call centre is based in Fort William, so the Geographical alternative should be an 01397 number.

I've written to Scotrail pointing out that the 0845 number costs customers money and (probably) gives the company no benefit - but no reply as yet!

Well, it would appear that their fax number is 01397 708 239 (within the area code you specified) so it is possible that the number is located close to that one. Perhaps you could try a few extensions near that one?

Actually, scrap that - after searching for the fax number, I've located the following number - 01397 773300. It is probably the switchboard for "FirstInfo" (the "section" that runs the customer services for Scotrail). Please try that number and see if they will transfer you.

The 0141 number now has a recording on giving the 0845 number. Try the number found by jgxenite and let us know how you get on. You may have to ask to be put through to telesales.

No worries - please let us know how you get on. I suspect that the terminating number for the 0845 one will be somewhere in the range we have uncovered. It might also be worth asking them for an alternative number while you are on the line.

Numerous people have tried by using this number and will not be transferred as it is not possible as the number is for an admin office.
