1899.com and certain numbers not routing ?
Nov 7th, 2006 at 3:19pm

I am BT and I have been using 1899 for ages now with great success.
I recently bought blueyonder broadband, I had a question regarding my service so I called the customer service number listed here 1899+0117 9076666 but the usual announcement did not come on "0p per minute"

I just checked my BT calls online and they routed through BT and not 1899, I have since had to call them once more and again it routed via BT and not 1899.

Does anyone know why or have any clues why this happens.

Thanks

Snaffler

I know that sometimes you don't get the announcement if the call answers quickly.

But the OP says he's checked online and the calls show up on his BT account.

Are you using an Orchid LCR snaffler?

Thanks for the replys,

I am only using BT line rental and 1899 thats it.

I was wondering if the number I am dialing is blocking the use of 1899 ?

But I cant see how this could be done, I have had no need to call them since but next time I will try again.
