0871 numbers
Nov 24th, 2009 at 9:58am

This is a general query about these numbers.   As they are regulated by the same organisation which regulates overt premium rate numbers such as 09, does this mean 0871 etc numbers are subject to the same regulation eg no queues etc?   I suspect this info may be somewhere on the forum but don't know where.

Also, why is it that the same organisaitons who claim they cannot migrate from 0870/0845 to 03 numbers because "it would confuse our customers" etc, have no such qualms or problems about "confusing" their customers by migrating to 0871/0844??!!
