I started this topic because right now Apps for smartphones are becoming increasingly popular and are becoming easier to make.
All this bundles in with the growing population of smart phone users.

I think having an app like saynoto0870 on the android platform/iphone platform would be a great success.


Function:
* The app would run in the background (Iphone OS4 supports this, and just about every android build does too if not all of them)
*whenever an 0870/0871/0844 or any other distinctive premium number is dialed the app will search the online database 0870 uses and replace the number being dialed with a local/cheaper rate number and continue to call that number instead.



Theres plenty of great developers out that which could make this happen as i see it as not a hugely complicated process.
