I couldn't find any geo number out from all the searches I performed.

Best thing I can suggest is if you call 01293 562345 which is in the database as H/O and ask them to transfer you.

If they start giving out the number pretend to take it down then wait an hour or so and try again but this time say you have a complaint about your holiday booking and your stick of being stuck in a que and all those options - they may transfer you then.

I've done this to a few companies in the past (not about holidays though) and their H/O generally transfer you especially if you say you're not happy with the way its been dealt with or something!

I know this is picking up an old thread, but it may be of use to someone.  I have also posted this telephone number in the unverified listings.

I booked a holiday through Virgin Holidays, got a letter from them about payment of balance with a fax number of 01293 744247.  I needed to speak to them to check something with the booking, but refuse to dial the 0870 220 0088 number on their letterhead, which had their Station Road, Crawley address.

So I  dialled their fax number but changed the last digit.  Got through to them on 01293 744241.  They seemed surprised but did answer my query very politely.

Has anyone suceeded in getting a 'proper' geo number for Virgin Holidays, please? (as distinct from the random derivation of the fax number mentioned above).

A search of 192.com gives Virgin Holidays at the address quoted in the OP. The phone number is 0870 000 0870. Perhaps this is the switchboard or general number for the company. There is also a fax number of 01293 536957, so perhaps another clue. Undecided

There are also several other entries at the same address under "Free Directory Enquiries", all with 0870 numbers:
  • Virgin Frequent Club 0870 066 0200
  • Reservations 0870 220 0088
  • Weddings 0870 990 8825

Couldn't add geograpical number

Tried to add a geographical number for Virgin Holidays 01293 496917 (for 0844 557 0475) which worked on 6th Oct 2011.  Couldn't do it (said verifcation code not entered-which it was). Perhaps some one could oblige by adding the number to your database (and maybe fixing the bug, too)

Thanks for posting about this. I have added an entry to the database for these 0844 and 01293 numbers.

I will make site admin aware of the issue you have had.

If you post in the forum (Requests section) about any updates, additions or removals that are needed in future, I or one of my colleagues will do the honours. That way entries can be put in as verified rather than languishing as unverified. It also helps for those entries that no longer work because they can be removed straight away.

The geographical number given for Virgin Holidays no longer exists. You are asked to redail an 0844 number again! I have tried all options but they just want you to call premium/local rate numbers. Can anyone track down the new geographical number for 08445574321? :-

Hello Lilla and welcome to SayNoTo0870.com.

I have removed the entries which gave 01293 496917 and 496900 as both now answer with a redirection message to 0844 557 5825 for Virgin Holidays reservations.

When we find another suitable alternative I will reinstate the entries complete with new alternative.

Looking at the numbers, I think that for this office they might be 01293 4969xx, 4968xx and possibly lower. This would appear to be the best place to look.

I tried 496901 and 496905 and they went to a message "Please hold and your call will be answered shortly."

Whatever you try, please let us know how it goes (including which you try). I would like to list an alternative for visitors to use, so your help will be much appreciated.

I am trying to find an alternative number for Virgin Holiday's customer service - the number on their website is 0844 573 0088.  A search on this number gave no result so obviously isn't in the database.  Having paid this company a small fortune for a holiday I strongly object to them making more money out of me from an 0844 number.  If anyone has knowledge of a landline number I would be grateful if they would share it.  Thank you.

Good Evening,

There is a post here http://www.saynoto0870.com/cgi-bin/forum/YaBB.cgi?num=1117282103 regarding Virgin Holidays.. So I would imagine that they will be combined..

I would suggested reading the last post and trying those numbers listed...

After that come back here and tell us if they work.

Smiley
