BBC Still Claiming 0845 is local rate. (Read 8,521 times)

Reply #2 - Apr 10^th, 2012 at 9:21pm If you browse the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) website you'll find many judgements against companies they have warned off for falsely advertising 0845 numbers as 'local rate' and 0870 numbers as 'national rate' over the last few years.

Unfortunately it still seems to be almost the norm for companies to do this with 0845 numbers and I really can't be bothered to report them all!
