The tracking of a parcel for my wife, indicated that they tried to deliver and left a card.  We were in all day and no card was left.
Have tried ringing 01293 517004/516183 - both numbers disconnected me after a number of rings.

Then rang the 0844 755 0117 customer services which takes you through an automated response - not helpful as they require the parcel code for Yodel - which as I don't have a card is difficult.  eventually spoke to a human being who advised that the parcel was out for re-delivery.

Lord preserve me from Yodel! Angry Angry

If a card was left somewhere, it is likely that it was left at some other address. That being the case, the second attempt may also end up at the same place.

For future reference, it is the vendor's responsibility to deal with the courier company. Contacting the vendor should be relatively easy; consumer law requires an 01, 02, 03 or 080 number.

Unless somebody has hijacked yodel's website the 0844 755 number is on the official Yodel website:

Since this is a customer service number likely to be used by consumers it's illegal, despite specifiying the charges correctly. They offer alternative contact via Skype if you click the "Call us now" button. And web chat: http://www.yodel.co.uk/contact-yodel/ But neither of these is good enough.

They say its 1p a minute plus service charge to call the 0844 755 0117  number when it fact its a Charge Band SC003   2p/min   + Access  Charge .
