I can see now why the previous number didn't work - it was 1 digit short !! Maybe L00 needs to take off his dark glasses 8) to help him see the numbers properly. I know the above has the 0845 723333 and there is a geo number equivalent ( 0207 number listed ) for this. I am looking for the geographic number direct to the Ipswich branch ( 13 Cornhill, Ipswich ) i.e. 01473 ******, as I do need to contact that branch direct. Could anyone kindly assist ? That should be 0845 0723333 I think you'll find and is the number for Account Enquiries, not the branch.
The overseas number to call for Account enquiries is

0207 7857654

according to their website (and ours).

By the way, they show 2 branches in Cornhill, Ipswich but only one shows up on the Yell search !! They seem to have done a very good job of hiding them as all the old numbers I found no longer work.

and should be a good place to start. Ask for the Customer services, who say they will transfer you (even if they are in India) to the local branches - but only on weekdays !

I don't think the APACS book will be very useful, most of the numbers in it are for processing centres.

The only way I have been able to speak direct to a Lloyds TSB branch is to use 0207 785 7654 and ask to be transferred to the branch. The last time I tried it, it worked OK, much better than HSBC whose phone system is c**p. The story is too long to put on a thread dedicated to Lloyds TSB.
