I know this is a 'local call rate' but I have free landline calls on my mobile which then charges me for any 08 numbers

Any idea what the landline number is please? I need to contact them for a support issue and dont fancy having to pay for a problem on their hardware! Ironically, the 'Online Support Chat' option one their website only allows you to talk about sales not support :/

I have tried google to no avail!

I tried that number but its just a recorded message saying use the 0844 number.

Are there any other landline numbers?

If the number was verified it has now changed! 01484664735 is just a recorded message saying its an old number.

I can only use 01,02 & 03 numbers on my mobile for free landline calls so the 0845 number is chargeable.

The reason I got the bolt on for free landline calls was to keep my costs down! Unfortunately nearly every company seems to be switching to the 0845 or 0844 numbers without publishing the corresponding local number. Short-sighted if you ask me.

jamesbond's advice would seem to be the best bet to achieve a result so far.

I suspect that this one will only be known by the company and its telephone provider, and that we're unlikely to be able to sleuth our way to it.

I have removed the entry in the database which gave 01484 664735. As Gyro has said, there is a recording on it redirecting to the 0844 number (complete with the misleading "Lo-Call" term).

I came across this thread on PCSpecialist's own forum where the fax number has been given as 01484 667140.


Calling the 664735 number gets through to the recording, and when one presses *, it prompts for an extension number. It may be worth more investigation, but it didn't seem to be for putting calls through to other extensions, more leaving voicemails.

However, I did find out that they have three-digit extensions, and that 100 and 102 are valid numbers.

I get the impression that these are just odd numbers they have, so it's likely that they've simply aquired another (unrelated) number to sit behind the 0844 number.

"01484 664732" would appear to belong to someone else.

I went straight on to the www.192.com site when I saw that request. I assumed the op did a search first for an existing thread. I must admit I didn't, so apologies

I wonder how often the www.192.com site gets up dated as this has happened many times before
