Sometimes the announcement is incorrect. The best way of checking this is to go to there site,and look up your list of itemised calls and see what they actually charged you.Anybody else reading this who are with 18866, perhaps you could check your a/cs if you made a uk mobile call at the weekend,and let us know if you were actually charged 12p a min!!!

YES .But if your dialling from a BT Landline and  you havent subscribed to 18866 or 1899 yet.You can use Telestunt 0871 999 1414.They charge 10p a min at all times.So avoid them at weekends.They dont charge a connection fee but they do start charging as soon as they answer.

Also if you are dialling Vodaphone Numbers or numbers that originated from Vodaphone before they were ported you can dial 08444 840700 in the evening at 5p a min.
