I called 01442 202700 and get Asus answering with options menu. Says if you want Tech support you need to call 0870 1208340. As that is the number you have posted I guess you are after tech support! Does give other options i.e. 1 for notebook sales, 2 for component sales, 3 for reseller sales and so on.

Might it be worth pressing one of the options and saying that your phone system will not let you dial the 0870 and seeing if you can get in that way?

Have had a good look around but can't find an alternative at the moment. Sorry.

Asus Computers Number

Hi
Can anyone help me find an alternative number for Asus Computers.
The number i had to ring was 08701 208 340
I had to ring it 9 times and was waiting 15 mins each time and when i got through in the end i was put through to the wrong department.
At one point i thought i was listening to a recorded message as the chap kept repeating himself over and over, how funny.
It was only because one of the buttons came off my laptop while i was typing so i needed it repaired under warranty so it wasnt even my fault.
So can anybody please help me not to get ripped off again having to call that number.

Why do you think that Asus is based in MK?

There is an entry in the unverified database that says that 01442 202716 is tech support and warranty and goes to answerphone if no-one's there.

Going by the fax and phone numbers we have so far, I would say that Asus' numbers start with 01442 2027xx, so it's likely that the 0870 routes to one of those.

I just phoned 01442202716 - a Chinese woman picked up and said "Hello, Asus UK". She then asked what I was phoning about, I said motherboard and she put me on hold. I then got disconnected Sad

Going to try again now.

EDIT

Just tried again and this time I got through to someone to speak about the motherboard, he said they had only just movied office and he'll phone me back in half an hour when he gets internet access.

It all sounds a bit dodgy lol >.<

I just tried 01442202716 hoping to be able to get through to ASUS tech support. It turns out this number is now for marketing, the very helpful chap on the other end offered me the 0870 number and when I asked if he could just put me through he explained that the tech support is a seperate switchboard and is actually in the Netherlands. He did however also give me the direct dial number in the Netherlands, which I thought I'd post as it may be cheaper if you use Skype (I believe skype charges 1.6p/min for Netherlands). It's +31591570293 - I can't confirm it works as I haven't tried it yet.

Hello insanimal and welcome to SAYNOTO0870.COM. Thanks for posting this, I have updated the listings to reflect this.

The switchboard number, 01442 202700, is answered with an IVR (automated menu) and option 2 is for technical support/faults and goes through to the same IVR as ringing 0870 120 8340.

The Netherlands number given (+31 591 570293) is a geographic one and is answered identically to the 0870 number.

I've listed 01442 202700 as the first entry with a note saying to select the appropriate option and secondly, the +31 one with a note suggesting that a provider such as 18185 may necessary in order to reduce cost (or just ring via the UK 01442 number).

The number 0871 220 3227 is also identical to 01442 202700, so I've listed this as well.

Thanks again for the feedback. If you find any other entries that require amending or removing or you know of other numbers that can be added, please channel these through the forum and I will get them listed.

I have removed some other numbers and I'm posting them here for the record, in case they prove useful at a later date:
