If the only telephone numbers advertised for customer services begin 084, 087 or 09 you should complain to Trading Standards via the Citizen's Advice national Consumer Helpline on 0345 404 0506.

Regulation 41 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 requires that post sales helplines, where offered, must use numbers starting 01, 02, 03 or 080.

They also breach the Premium Rate Regulator rules so you could also complaim to them.

The mail order company behind it http://www.kingstown.uk.com/ have a number of websites which only show the 0871 contact number.
