Both numbers have been dialled over 2000 times and every time I receive an engaged tone. As a result I presume the numbers do not work. Thanks Dave

Tried doing a polite request via their Contact Us page using their query form saying that I did not like to call 0870 numbers as the cost was prohibitive, and could they provide a proper number. They were quick to answer and this was their reply (Unnecessary info deleted)

A check of 192.com for businesses in RH6 9AX reveals "Interparcel", tel 0870 027 3733, fax 01293 785 990. Mr M Walters is shown as the director of the company.

How do you guys go about finding alternative numbers when companies won’t give them to you? I have looked on the whois web directory and company’s house website and in all cases the number is given as 0870. Thanks Dave

See if you can find any more 01293 telephone or fax numbers for them. If some have the first few digits in common, then they could have sequential numbers.

For example 01234 567800, 567801, 567802 etc etc

The number of lines will depend on the size of company (number of employees). 192.com sometimes lists number of employees, although how reliable it is, im not sure.

On their home page, in the news section

4th August 2006 : New Head Office / Warehouse

At the start of August we moved into our new head office and warehouse facility in Crawley. Giving us 10,000 sq ft of storage space, this will allow us to continue with our ongoing plans for expansion.

Explains the difference in addesses.
Thus any number found for the OLD address should be carried over

So maybe they don't have many phone lines.
