I tried in the search but didnt come up with anything

Is this to book a furniture donation, as the contact page suggests? Could you complete the online donation form? I presume that if you do, they will contact you.

It's difficult, if not nigh on impossible to find an alternative with no idea as to where it is answered.


The only information I can find which may help is that Whois g2g.org.uk (that's a look-up of the registration information for Give2Give's internet address) gives the 28 Station Approach address, so perhaps that is the head office. There is, of course, the possibility that calls to the 0845 number are dealt with by an outsourced call centre.

20 Station Approach is a Furniture Store and a few doors down at number 28, is a Charity Shop! Google Street View shows them nicely and this link shows the front of number 20, and in the window it says "Furniture Donation Line 020 8213 3888".


If this works as a suitable alternative then I will list it for others to use, so let me know how you get on.  

For clarification on the comments above:

give2give use a range of 0845 numbers on different advertising and promotional material.  The low cost 0845 system generates call statistics, which enables the charity to see whether their advertising and marketing campaigns are proving successful, or not.

The cost to call an 0845 number is the same as calling a local landline, which is usually around 2p per minute.  However, some landline providers include 0845 calls in their inclusive calls allowance.  Please note that if you call from a mobile the charges are higher, and will differ according to which network and/or inclusive minutes tariff you are on. Alternatively, you can pop in to the Petts Wood Furniture Store and speak to the donations co-ordinator directly to book in a collection, or email donations@g2g.org.uk and someone will call you back.

The 0845 donation line was set up to specifically deal with the generous donations of furniture and household items.  Collections of charity shop items such a clothes, toys, books etc. can also be arranged via the donation line.  However, it is encouraged for these items to be dropped off directly to the give2give charity shops in Hayes and Petts Wood.

Since 2003 give2give has donated more than £200,000 to local good causes across Bromley by;

• making small grants to 77 community organisations, charities and individuals
• providing 120 families in need across Bromley with a free holiday at the give2give caravan on the South Coast
• provided over 30 local organisations with free minibus transport through our partnership scheme with Bromley Council
• re-used and recycled more than 73,000 items of donated furniture. This has saved over 3,500 tonnes of furniture from going directly to landfill
