Customer services manager
Another customer services manager:
(0844 543 7202) 0113 397 6602
Also for: 0844 543 7411
The number 01133976602 returns "not known"
All other numbers keep you waiting for far too long - presumably because there are mso many complaints. Also tried the web chat - they cannot help and "need to refer to a higher authority" who "will get back in due course". Sad

I think I've cracked this one - I found 0871 246 1583 on the postandparcel.info website.  And this number gets answered fairly quickly!  It's a recording that tells you to press 1 for deliveries (and then it tells you to speak to the company the parcel is coming from), or press 2 for MyHermes. So, whatever you're really ringing for, press 2!  You have to listen to music because "all advisors are busy", but then you do get through to a real customer service person.  Based at the head office in Morley, Leeds - the chap I got was really helpful and got me sorted in no time.  I just hope his mates are all as good!

This site is all about NOT calling 084 and 087 numbers.

Regulation 41 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 requires businesses to advertise 01, 02, 03 or 080 numbers in place of 084, 087 and 09 numbers.

Neither "free" or "local", local references where done away with in 2004, and no minutes are "free", they are inclusive, try getting "free" calls without paying a landline rental or a bundle.

Calls to 03 numbers are 'inclusive' (not free) from landlines and from mobiles, else charged at 'geographic rate' (a distinct local rate no longer exists).

It's important to differentiate calls that are completely free (i.e. 080) from those that are inclusive in call packages (i.e. 01, 02, 03, 071-075, 077-079).

All the best with your efforts to get customer service by telephone, or whatever option turns out to be the most effective.

If you incurred a call cost ringing a 03 number, we would urge you to make sure that you are using the best tariff option for your calls. For anyone who makes anything other than a tiny number of calls to "ordinary" numbers (i.e. 01/02/03 and standard mobile 07) the best deal is nearly always found in an inclusive package (possibly unlimited).

I incurred the costs when I got impatient with the existent 0300 numbers and called 0870 a few times - and they didn't even help me.

Eventually I called the number I gave you in the previous message and they transferred me to the relevant department alright.
That number is primarily for business customers but they will transfer you and you're still on a free call...

Under the terms of the Consumer Contract Regulations (see http://www.fairtelecoms.org.uk/consumer-contracts-regulations.html) you are entitled to a refund of your costs, probably from the organisation you bought the items from.

Hi anonyy

Welcome to SayNoTo0870.com

Thanks for providing this number, I can see from Hermes Parcels Twitter account they gave out this number so it appears to be legit.
