The Geographical number listed for Sony UK Ltd., (08705 111 999), is 01635 872777. When dialed the recorded voice says the number is not recognised.
The alternative number 01635 869500 is either constantly engaged or the recorded voice advises that "This number is temporaraly not available".
Can anyone provide an alternative please?

Also, it is quite rude to come and demand the landline number - it would have been better to ask if anybody knew it. Please come back and post more information or the post will be deleted.

I have removed the 0800 1695263 number. Last year I found some Sony helplines on 01656 867xxx numbers. Some of these have been added, and I think others exist.

Search the database for sony
for some of these numbers.

Please let us know how you get on and what numbers work and don't work.

Sony's general enquiries number is now 0845 600 0124 and it is answered with a menu for various types of electronic devices.

The 0870 511 1999 number is still answered with the same menu, so if your provider charges no more for 0870 calls, you might be better off calling this instead of the 0845 number.

The number for the Republic of Ireland is +353 1 413 1771 and answers with the same menu. Use a dial-through provider such as 18185 to reduce the cost of calling this number instead of routing via your main landline or mobile provider where such calls are usually very expensive.

Thanks Bowman for this, I had been on the verge of phoning Sony's 090 Premium rate number Sad

re my out of warranty Vaio Laptop then I checked on here and found your post.

I got straight through to the switchboard operator and asked for Customer Support. I was asked, "For which product" and the lady then put me straight through and within 5 seconds I was talking to a human being in their Vaio Dept from whom I was able to order the new part that was required. Grin

01932 816000 is the number to call.

These all have options for various Sony products.
